This course teaches adult and youth leaders to bring the Leave No Trace and Outdoor Ethics message to Scouting. It is designed to train adults and older youth to serve as Leave No Trace Trainers for Scouting and the wider public. It provides participants with an understanding of principles of Leave No Trace to instruct and guide others in making good ethical choices to minimize recreational impacts to help protect the wonderful outdoor locations we use.
Cost: $55, if paid by 2/11/17. $65 after 2/11/17. This covers all food and course materials.
Course is limited to 20 participants.
Youth must be at least 14 years old and First Class rank or higher.
All participants will be required to submit BSA Medical form parts A & B and sign the LNT, Inc. Disclaimer of Liability form.
