First, I want to apologize for the time it has taken for me to get this posted. Being a Scouter in the Fall means always being busy in the evenings and weekends. It’s all part of being a Scouting family. While it can be hectic, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. The experiences we share and the memories we create will outlast us all.
Two things to point out:
- There are three major adult training opportunities available. See the flyers below for Wood Badge, Blackfoot, and University of Scouting. Every Scout deserves a trained leader. Sign up and take these courses. They will make your Scouting life easier.
- Volunteer award nominations are being taken now. Please try to nominate at least one or two volunteers from your group that are deserving of recognition. They work so hard, they deserve to be recognized. Nominate them!
December roundtable is fast approaching. (Dec 7th) You’ll want to attend as we will be having a potluck dinner, re-chartering our packs and troops, and playing some games. It’s a great time to relax with your fellow Scouters and get that re-charter turned in. Dinner and the re-charter sessions will begin at 6:30 PM. Here are the food assignments based on your last name for the potluck:
- A-G main dish
- H-R side dish or salad
- S-Z dessert
