Eagle Scout Earns a Medal at Winter Olympics

Categories: Latest News

Have you heard Eagle Scout Steven Holcomb and his two-man bobsled team won bronze at the Sochi Games? This win ended a 62-year drought for the American teams in this event. He and his team also won a medal in 2010 bringing home a medal in four-man bobsledding for the first time in 62 years. According to Bryan’s Blog on Scouting, Holcomb told the New York Times “If anybody else has a 62-year drought you need to break, you let me know. I’ll try to help you.” Always the Scout, trying to help! Congratulations to Steven and his team and what a great example of what a Scout is capable of doing!
