Program Overview

Webelos Camp has much to offer your Scouts this summer! Our summer program is offered as a “round-robin” format, so that all Scouts will have the chance to experience each area of camp. With an emphasis on having fun and enjoying camp, they will earn requirements often without realizing they are learning! Free time is scheduled so that they can return to an area they already enjoy or venture out to explore a new area of camp, with guidance of course!  Webelos Resident Camp will also help prepare Scouts for further adventures in Boy Scouts and the Boy Scout Resident Camp program.

Advancements to be earned:

Webelos attending Webelos Resident Camp at Camp Falling Rock will complete requirements for the following:

  • The shooting sports award patch, and 2 shooting sports pins (either BB, Archery, or Slingshot)
  • Requirements 1-4 for the “Build It” elective,
  • Requirements 1-6 for the “Earth Rocks” elective,
  • All the requirements for the “Into the Woods”,
  • Requirements 1-9 and possibly 10 for the “Aquanaut” elective,
  • All the requirements for “Stronger Faster Higher”

The goal with the Webelos Resident Camp program is to give Webelos the ability to see the entire camp, and every program area, while surrounding them with fun and better preparing them to become a Boy Scout.

Program Areas

Every Webelos Scout will get to enjoy climbing, archery, BB shooting, slingshots, handicraft, the pool, nature and CFR Labs.  Each campsite will rotate through the program areas daily. Tuesday night at camp will be the camp wide game, Wednesday night will be movie night and Thursday night is Family night.
