Overview

To ensure the best service and support to packs, troops, ships and crews within the Simon Kenton Council, volunteers across our council are conducting a district boundary study – a review of how SKC is organized into districts and whether we could be more effective if we operated within a different structure. The district study group will review factors such as population, distance and travel time within the council, civic boundaries (for example, school districts), leadership potential among volunteers, and traditions and operations within current districts. Group members will also invite input from families, volunteers and staff members across the council.
